Week 20 – 19. From Where I Stand……

Al and I are hosting Christmas this year. “From where I stand” thinking of this will keep me going when the going gets tough. Peace and quiet and a few treats after enjoying the festivities with our family.

I hope you all have a very “Merry Christmas” and all good wishes for 2018.

Week 19 – 10. Dangerous

The tree surgeon pruning our damson. It was scraping the roof of the shed he is standing on. He is certainly well kitted up with safety gear! Not as dangerous as it appears.

Last week I noticed a pair of eyes looking out at me from the shed roof under the overhanging branches, It was a fox. Hopefully removing the branches will deter it from moving into our garden. There were a few fox cubs around this summer. They will be looking for a place to build a den before it gets any colder.

Week 14 – 11. Diptych or Triptch

bridge tryptch

This Tryptch is of the Firth of Forth Road Bridges in Scotland taken from the Rail Bridge. The centre image has all 3 bridges since there is a girder of the Rail Bridge showing in it too. The second Road Bridge opened this year. The bridge joins Edinburgh with the county of Fife. The volume of traffic up and down the East coast of Scotland was so heavy that another Road Bridge was needed.

I struggled with this one. I tried several instructions but got nowhere. I could not fathom them out. I remembered I made a Zone ruler on a course I did and that was an easy way to follow and do.
