Week 41 – 42. The Wild side

365_08.05.17

This is as “wild ” as I am going to get. This is “My Wild Side”.

I have had this on my bucket list for a while. This is my “purple streak”. It is a chalk addition so did not last long but it has prompted me to have one that washes out in six weeks next time I visit the hairdresser. My family think I am losing it!

I saw some really beautiful ones which look like rainbows on Facebook.

Week 39. – 43. Tools of the Trade

Week39.17

On our coach trip to Arundel Castle to see the tulips, we also visited this greenhouse where there was a vine growing. In the corner of the greenhouse there was this interesting potting bench with some “tools of the trade” stored there too. There were some beautiful beds of tulips to see out of the windows. A super place to work!

We have had many interesting trips over the years but sadly they are all coming to an end in June. The Company has been taken over by a French firm and they do not want to continue the trips. The trips which include trips to Europe and short holidays too will be sadly missed by older folks like us who prefer to be driven rather than drive sometimes. All good things come to an end eventually.

Arundel Castle is the home of the Duke of Norfolk. The Castle itself was open too. It had many interesting artefacts and a lovely Chapel.

Week 38 – 21. On the Water

365_18.04.17

Another “Bubbles” effort with oil on water for my take on the theme “On the Water”.  The paper beneath the oil and water was not so striking as clothing that I have used before but OK. I also purchased some very bold stripes and circles for another go.

Nice afternoon of fun. I was always a serious child and not encouraged to play much. I am making up for it now! These projects are a real opportunity to relax and take your mind off life for a while.
